4196 | Article | vkimo | Excellent summary of a most excellent tip! That trophy your family got is awesome! I'm also glad you finally got to meet up with Rob. He was a great guy and really in tune with his fans. I enjoyed the retro goodies that were abundantly displayed, but like Vaporman said, the time hanging out with you guys was the best. It was a smaller group, but that allowed us more time to hang out and get to know each other more. Hopefully we can continue this tradition! | Nov 07, 2017
4511 | Article | vkimo | Man, this sounded awesome. I met up with NLogan again after Retrocon while driving to Pennsylvania from California, even met his sidekick Ravenloft - These guys are a blast. Hopefully we can all get together again soon! | Rad Retro Weekend Part 1 | Aug 10, 2018
4512 | Article | vkimo | I watched this with my brother a few years ago. This movie is definitely better appreciated as an adult. | Last Action Hero Movie Merchandise | Aug 13, 2018
4632 | Article | vkimo | Finally got a chance to sit down and take a look at this gem! Rocky Point sounds like a awesome spot! In California we didn't have much for spooky haunts save for the Winchester Mystery House - but PA seems to have dozens. I'd like to see a picture of your house decorated. | NLogan's Retro Halloween Anticipation | Oct 23, 2018
4791 | Article | vkimo | Nice piece! Brought me back to my short lived skateboarding days. My older brother was a sponsored pro back in the 90s and rode for Anti Hero and Real Skate teams. I believe he was in Thrasher magazine at one time. My first foray was in the form of a little blue cartridge on the N64 - THPS was such an integral part of my video game days. I would also get the CCS catalog and look at all the cool decks from World Industries to Hook Ups...I read that bio you got signed for your brother, nice read. I still have my Element Deck with Venture Trucks, Quickies bearings and Kryptonics wheels. Recently I picked up an old 80s skateboard at a garage sale, listed it on Craigslist only to be contacted from the original owner who said it was stolen from him as an adolescent. Crazy story, but I gave it back to him. | Skate or Die Generation | Jan 14, 2019
4905 | Article | vkimo | Wow, nice connection on the Beverly Hills Cop aspect! I saw fragments of this film over the years, but never one complete sitting. Not sure if I can as Shelley Long's character, Dianne in Cheers gets on my nerves haha | 10 Best Cameos In Troop Beverly Hills | Apr 12, 2019

5212 | Article | vkimo | @Nlogan - Wow, it has been almost a decade..and at least 2 decades since those events transpired. I agree, an excused absence is the way to go, the lack of guilt would make even the Chess Club a blessing. So did the buddy ditch too? His parents must have been at work @Vapor - Me and my friends did that too! After lunch after everyone spilled out, we'd sneak back into the classrooms. It was surreal and I remember one time almost getting caught by the janitor. Good times | Playing Hooky | May 29, 2020 |
