2957ArticleNLoganI had the Hardee's ghost and it is still in a box of junk at my mom's house. I had several of the monster cereal prizes as a kid. We did have a few Mc Donald's pails Mc Boo, Mc Goblin, and Mc Punk'n around 1986 or so. Oct 15, 2015View
2958ArticleoniparI actually didn't have any of that stuff as a kid. I didn't get to go to fast food places very often. But I made up for it as an adult! :-pHalloween Promotional Items of the 80s and 90sOct 15, 2015View
2969ArticlejkatzDo they even put physical prizes in cereal anymore? It's like they've all been replaced with movie tickets and access codes to game sites and such. Probably considered a choking hazard or something. Those pails are a classic, almost iconic. McDonald's should bring them back.Halloween Promotional Items of the 80s and 90sOct 16, 2015View

2950ArticleVaporman87That's one thing I wanted to avoid when choosing a costume for trick or treating... I didn't want to be predictable. I wanted to keep people guessing as to what I would be each year.Gwen Costume 2000Oct 15, 2015View

2951ArticleVaporman87Both of those places look incredibly cool to visit... the barren spot simply because of it's lore and it's placement in the middle of nowhere, and the house because it just looks incredible. Perfectly preserved for decades, ripe with history just waiting to be found, photographed, and researched. What a trip this had to be. This was a fun read! The Devil's Tramping GroundOct 15, 2015View
2952ArticleVaporman87Okay so, I'm going to be up front and confess that I am pretty sure this is the first article I have read here that brought a little moisture to my eyes. I can't imagine losing a parent at such a young age, then having to face that and the holiday that really brought you both so much joy all at once every year thereafter. That you treat it more like a celebration of those times instead of a time to mourn is honorable and amazing. I can't know what you went through, but I too lost my mother in late October (actually the day after my wedding anniversary). So celebrating our anniversary and mourning the death of my mom are almost inseparable. But in the end both days are really a celebration of love. Love gained and love lost.I was born in love with Halloween. Oct 15, 2015View
