Articlemunkysrench@Vaporman87, I'll admit, getting through The Killing Joke was pretty tough the first time for me, being how graphic it was. But I think that's what stands out about Batman compared to other comic book characters is that raw unedited storyline. @Ben, I actually was going to make this one a lot longer, but thought with the synopsis that it was long enough. I knew I should've written more! lol Aug 13, 2015View
ArticlemassrealityGreat article! I picked up a Pokemon game on the DS a few years back (the one with the Pokewalker). I had never played one before that, but I had a lot of fun with it. I wish I had grown up playing it, but I think I missed the Pokemon craze by a year or so. Age of PokemonAug 13, 2015View
ArticlemassrealityMy first ever comic was the TPB of A Death in the Family. I must have read that book a hundred time and studied the artwork. It was a great book. Welcome to the site! The Cereal Box in the ClosetAug 13, 2015View
ArticleoniparSuch a great article! It's funny too because I just ordered the 5-pack of NES games here on RD, and one of the games I chose was Little Nemo. I don't think I've ever played the game before though, now I'm really looking forward to it. Little NemoAug 13, 2015View

ArticleBenjanimeI forgot to mention, it's confirmed that the killing joke is becoming an animated movie, and mark hamill is reprising his role as the joker. here's hoping they don't gut the story like what they did with superman doomsday. The Cereal Box in the ClosetAug 13, 2015View
Articleechidna64This brings back a "web" of nostalgia. I miss Todd McFarlane's gritty take on the Spider-Man comics. Not gonna lie, I spun up a new trilogy in my mind once I heard that there would be another reboot of the film franchise. Regrettably, it might be a long time before see an older and more tortured Peter Parker ala Maximum Carnage. Spider-Man & Venom Action Figure Retrospective Part 2Aug 13, 2015View
ArticleHoju Koolander@Vaporman87 You are not alone, Great minds think alike, Birds of a feather and all that. Godzilla collectibles sound like they would take up a lot of space. @echidna64 If we ever get a Maximum Carnage movie, we'll know the Nerds have officially taken over. Kraven's Last Hunt would make a great one too, though maybe that would be better as a direct to Netflix TV-MA one off.Spider-Man & Venom Action Figure Retrospective Part 2Aug 14, 2015View
ArticleHoju Koolandergreat topic. We must have had the only one of these on the West Coast when I was 9 or 10 called The Wizard of Games. I only went once because of those high prices you talked about, but that console based arcade concept really was a great concept. Of course if you had a rich buddy with all the games, you could get the same effect, I suppose.A New Kind of ArcadeAug 14, 2015View
ArticleoniparHa, too true. There was a point when I had at least one friend with each system, making the console-arcade fairly obsolete. Still, I can't help but think a tweaked version of this would be a great hangout even today. Kind of Dave and Busters style, only when you get your table, you "order" a console or two to play while you drink and wait for food. :-pA New Kind of ArcadeAug 14, 2015View
