2280ArticleOldSchool80sI would definitely have Tecmo Super Bowl on the list. I would also have The Legend of Zelda. Some of my other favorites that didn't make your list include Kid Icarus, Baseball Stars, Metroid and Ice Hockey. May 22, 2015View
2429ArticleOldSchool80sPlayed a lot of Pro Wrestling back in the early days. Remember Amazon would bite at your head and blood would spurt out. When you won a match you would get the "A WINNER IS YOU" screen. Yesterdays: MY Favorite Nintendo Games Part 3Jul 30, 2015View
2459ArticleOldSchool80sPicking out the perfect lunch box was so important in those early years. Then I can remember how much my Trapper Keeper meant to me. I also remember the 4-color pen (that they still make, I think) where you slide down the color that you want to use - black, blue, red, green.Retro School SuppliesAug 04, 2015View
2485ArticleOldSchool80sEnjoyed reading this. Nice work! Have some awesome 80s memories of going to the arcade and Showbiz Pizza. I also remember the tabletop Ms. Pac-Man at Pizza Hut, but never realized that was a universal thing. The Mall ArcadeAug 07, 2015View
2526ArticleOldSchool80sFun stuff, thanks for sharing. The Droids song was not only written/performed by Stewart Copeland, but also Derek Holt of Climax Blues Band. I asked him about it in a recent interview I did with him. I have also published interviews with Jymn Magon who helped create/develop Disney afternoon cartoons including Duck Tales as well as Christy Marx who wrote/developed Jem Little Known Facts About 25 of Your Favorite 80's Cartoons!Aug 14, 2015View

3291ArticleOldSchool80sThe year we received our Atari 2600 is probably my best Christmas gift memory of my entire childhood. It is one of my favorite stories to re-tell and will always hold a special place for me. My Favorite Christmas Gifts As A Kid in the 80s & 90sJan 22, 2016View
3294ArticleOldSchool80s@Vapor Glad you enjoyed it! All predictions of future fashion were so far off whether you look at BTTF or any other futuristic film like Demolition Man. Rick definitely was right about the computers taking over music-making not to mention our day-to-day lives.Rick Springfield’s futuristic ‘Human Touch’ video takes place in 2016Jan 24, 2016View
3312ArticleOldSchool80sWCW was on TBS back in the 80s and had a lot of good stuff going on well before the time you are describing too. When I think of WCW, I think first about the 4 Horsemen, Dusty Rhodes, Rock n Roll Express, Midnight Express, Magnum TA, Nikita Koloff, Road Warriors and that era. Then Sting helped make the transition to that 90s era which had a nice run as well. There was a stretch when I significantly preferred WCW to WWE. Everything seemed to be going well until they got rid of Bischoff and brought in Vince Russo. In Defense of World Championship WrestlingFeb 03, 2016View
