4016ArticleHoju KoolanderLate night TV was always an adventure. I remember Hercules In New York playing a lot in the 1am slot, with Arnold making his pecs dance. I also watched a lot of The Patty Duke Show late on Nick At Nite when I couldn't sleep as a kid. That and Doby Gillis were always in rotation for me along with the old Dennis The Menace show starring Jay North. Jul 25, 2017View

2490Articlemassrealitykstrom22: I totally forgot to write about the carpet. Man did they have some strange patterns. I personally preferred token machines. I thought they were much cooler and it was more special than a regular old quarter. Of course, as I got older, I realized how much money I lost using token machines. Sometimes I'd walk out with a few extras in my pocket and despite my best interests, I never brought them back with me. I think they usually ended up in a change jar and were only found whenever I'd go use the Coinstar. The Mall ArcadeAug 08, 2015View
2411ArticleVaporman87Konami getting plenty of love from you in these lists Mickey. Rightfully so. Contra, Castlevania... they're true classics. Can't speak for Carmen SanDiego, but it must not have been too bad to make your list. I can remember being at my grandmother's house playing the NES with my cousin who was living there at the time. Using the extra life code and the both of us blasting our way through the baddies. Good times, those. I'm surprised Contra didn't resonate through the decades in the same way that games like Metal Gear did. Perhaps one day a new Contra series will take things to a whole new level and revive interest in it's history. Yesterdays: MY Favorite Nintendo Games Part 2Jul 21, 2015View

1331ArticleHoju KoolanderKnott's Scary Farm is still on my to-do list. I grew up in Orange County and even worked as a character as Disneyland, but never made it over to a Halloween Haunt. I thought your description of the smell was very helpful in imagining myself getting terrorized by ghouls for hire. So what was your cousin dressed up as? @vkimo Those haunted attractions sound pretty kinky, uh yeah...A Haunting ExperienceSep 25, 2014View
