5452ArticleoniparOh yeah! I forgot to mention the trading cards like Batman. I used to buy those there a lot.  Jun 27, 2021View
5460Articleonipar@Vaporman, ah lost footage/pictures are always an incredible find. When you finally get to see the contents of those tapes, it will be a glorious day! I recently had a roll of film developed that I'd had since college, but the film was all but destroyed unfortunately. I have another story that fits into this category pretty well...maybe a future article. The Things We've LostAug 07, 2021View
5462ArticleoniparReally great list! It's funny, many of these were games I used to play as a kid too, and strangely (even though I own them), I haven't revisited many of them in years (like Jaws and Double Dragon). Monster Party I do pop in around October every year. The NES Games I Remember Playing:Part 1Aug 07, 2021View
5464Articleonipar@ Ben, Thanks! It's funny because it sounds like you and your brother had a similar age gap as me and mine. In 1994 I was 14, and Mike would have been 11. I vaguely remembering him enjoying the game, but maybe being a little impatient with it. The Things We've LostAug 07, 2021View
5468Articleonipar@TWCFAN92 Ah, that's the hardest thing, when our own memories betray us. Your search sounds a lot like things I've done in the past to find lost things. I'll probably write an article about my search for a letter I wrote to a comic book in the 90s. The grey box thing sounds so familiar to me too. I'm going to think on it a while. It does feel like it could be a car type toy. Like maybe a little track with cars inside. The Things We've LostAug 09, 2021View
5470ArticleoniparThanks, echidna64! I've used that pic a couple times now, but I'm always finding something new in it I want to talk about. Like those cases of Micro Machines behind me. I still have those! I need to write about that one day too. The Things We've LostAug 11, 2021View
5477ArticleoniparSounds really cool. I especially like the sound of the Halloween theme. I totally missed out on this though, being a little too old at the time. I remember my brother (who is younger than me) talking about a couple of these shows, but the only one I ever saw was Courage. A Closer Look At: Cartoon Cartoon FridaysAug 20, 2021View
5478ArticleoniparNice article. It's funny, I also have nostalgia for these shows and Adult Swim, but from a very different perspective. I was 21 and in my third year of college, so these shows are all tied up with my college experience. Memories of watching them in the commons area, or having them playing in the background while we had "hush hush" dorm room parties. And then later, once I graduated, watching in my first real apartment with my roommates in between Xbox sessions. Ah, good times. Adult Swim: 20 Years Of An American Institution.Aug 20, 2021View
5484ArticleoniparWow, I've never heard of any of these, except maybe the Star Road one. I used to suck at video games and never really got very far in most. I can count on one hand the ones I actually beat, and a couple were only because of the Konami Code. I'd beat Lifeforce a lot, but again, only because of the code. All of my memories of special stuff were the well known things like warp zones in Mario games.Rewarding Moments in GamingAug 28, 2021View
5509ArticleoniparNever did see Under Wraps, and Little Monsters isn't a Halloween one for me, but the others are all on my list. Great suggestions all around! 5 Retro Movies You Should Watch For HalloweenSep 24, 2021View
