3791ArticleHoju KoolanderI have always had a soft spot for oldies as well and went to a 60's superstars show at a county fair around 1989 where acts like The Monkees, Bobby "Boris" Pickett (The Monster Mash) and The Tokens ( The Lion Sleeps Tonight) among others performed, it was great. I would have loved to see all those Grandmas freaking out at your show. Mar 22, 2017View
1096ArticleDoctorRyanI have always loved rainy days, even as an adult. Those were my "gaming days" when I would fire up my NES for some 8-bit action. Today it's games like Baldur's Gate and Diablo II. I guess that's another thing I brought from my childhood.Remembering Rainy DaysMay 21, 2014View
2276ArticleOldSchool80sI have been a Hulkamaniac from the start and probably always will be. I did start to get more into WCW in the 90s, so can identify with Stinger topping your list. I would always put the Road Warriors on my list as well. Fun topic! My Top 5 Fave Wrestlers of the 90'sMay 22, 2015View
879ArticleVaporman87I have been at that place you are now. Where you feel like, there is still magic in Christmas, but it's getting harder and harder to find it. But I'm here to tell you to just be patient, because that magic comes rushing back... when you have children of your own. Sure, it's a lot more work, and the perspective is reversed... but watching the smiles on the faces of my kids and just enjoying all the great things about the season with them, it brings all that magic back... in adult form. Just you wait and see. ThatDude's Christmas MemoriesDec 05, 2013View
4202ArticleOldSchool80sI have been doing the same thing, only not looking to pay top dollar for any of them right now. It seems some of the pieces I would like the most are available, but cost a lot more than I think I am willing to pay right now. Would love to get an original He-Man, Optimus Prime, etc. I kept almost all of my Star Wars figures which is pretty cool. I have a lot of WWF Wrestling Superstars. A few Matchbox cars. But will continue to look out for some of those iconic figures from my childhood. Good luck to you on your quest as well.Action Figure Reclamation Project Phase 1Nov 25, 2017View
2879ArticleHoju KoolanderI have been wanting to write an article myself on this show for years, thanks for taking care of that for me. This show used to play at 630am in my area and I remember getting up early to catch it. The low budget charm is what made it work, it's exactly what Power Rangers would have been if they didn't use Japanese stock footage.Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters from Beverly HillsOct 12, 2015View
3074ArticlePoshy2005I have birthday pics from McDonalds as well. I had my third birthday there in 1989 and another birthday I believe either my 6th or 8th birthday, I can't remember at McDonalds. I miss the cookies. I totally forgot about those until today. They had the best toys hands down. I miss old school McD's. The new school one just makes me sad. Dang hipsters. 1426ArticleNLoganI have copies of hulk 162, 180, 181, and 182. I like the Wendigo. I think it comes from an Algonquin legend. The kids version is in book 1 of scary stories. An interesting take on the legend. The Roosevelt version shares more similarities with the marvel version as victims are fed on. Marvel is reasonably close to the original legends in that anyone who commits cannibalism in the north woods becomes a wendigo.Scary Stories from the SchoolyardOct 13, 2014View
2571ArticleVaporman87I have extremely fond memories of being in our local skating rink. I've mentioned this in the forum and on one of massreality's articles; that I grew up in a small addition of homes and at the bottom of the hill sat our skating rink. So I walked up and down our hill almost every weekend to hang out at the rink. I still know who were expert skaters, I still hear the music playing and the sound of the arcade games (Galaga and Ms. Pac-Man being the most played ones). I can smell the hotdogs and old, worn carpeting on the benches. I can easily remember the tiny bathroom, and games we'd play (corner skate, limbo, the hokey pokey, etc.). I miss it a great deal.Roller Rinks! 80's Style!Aug 27, 2015View
