| Article | Vaporman87 | I think, at first, I looked at Hogan's transformation into "Hollywood" as a bit of a joke. It seemed like something thrown out there just to rock the boat, and nothing more. But as time went on, it really seemed to fit. Hogan could do the heel almost as well as the face. | Mar 13, 2015
| Article | Mr Magic | Hogan was a heel you just loved to hate. I mean he was a heel in the early 80s, but it was nothing compared to his NWO persona. | Wrestling with the 90's | Mar 13, 2015
| Article | Vaporman87 | That is really creepy, and yet hilarious at the same time. My only guess it that perhaps he had consumed way too many candy cigarettes and too much Surge and then wigged out. LOL I do have a question though... why did you give him the name "Dinosaur Kid"? Was it the roar alone? | The Dinosaur Kid | Mar 16, 2015
| Article | Vaporman87 | I too was forced into T-Ball. I remember very little about it though. My only real memories are of the field and our uniforms, and of a teammate having his hand get swollen and blue from being hit with a pitch. That pretty much made me want out. That you could get injured. I wanted no part of an injury. LOL Now, my Cub Scouts days... I remember more about that. T-Ball though... it's all lost in a thick fog. | Team Sports | Mar 16, 2015
| Article | SegaFanatic | That's the extent of it; he kinda ran with T. Rex arms too. | The Dinosaur Kid | Mar 17, 2015
| Article | Vaporman87 | LOL. Like with his elbows against his waist and his forearms sticking outward? | The Dinosaur Kid | Mar 17, 2015
| Article | SegaFanatic | Yeah, exactly! Haha! | The Dinosaur Kid | Mar 17, 2015
| Article | Hoju Koolander | That was pretty great and your Dad in his underwear seems like something right out any 90s kids comedy. I wouldn't be surprised if there are forums and ancient chat rooms devoted to sightings of The Dinosaur Kid. He sounds like he could fit right in with Sasquatch or El Chupacabra. So was there a sequel to this story? Did you ever run across this mythic creature again? | The Dinosaur Kid | Mar 17, 2015
| Article | Hoju Koolander | I totally know the Kimberly boots you were talking about. Your teacher may not have been hip, but at least she wasn't ancient, trying to tie in some contemporary themes. | Apathetic Chorus | Mar 17, 2015
| Article | MissM | I loved it when Kenner would do that! Their Ripley figure from the Alien toy line would get reused again for the Karen figure from the Congo toy line. I remember just being mind blown when that happened. I hadn't realized that parts would be reused for different toy lines. Obviously parts reuse made sense in the same toy line, but it was always a fun surprise. I loved the Beetlejuice toy line, I had so many of these. I still do for the most part. Beetlejuice was big business back then. I am with you though, it always bugged me that there was never a Lydia figure. She was one of the most integral characters on the show! lol Just crazy. Your mention of the booklets and images of other products was exciting for me too. I loved nothing more than looking at everything available and imagining the worlds I could play in if I could just own it all. lol | Kenner Action Toy Guide '91 | Mar 17, 2015 |
