2055Articleshakin steakI think I saw this. I was never into soda so I wouldn't have drank it. Or maybe I just recognize Dan Clowes' art. (Either way it's perfect for what they were trying to do.) I remember a different weird prerecorded phone message campaign from around the same time that my friend and I called incessantly, but we never bought the product. 2056ArticleHoju Koolander@echidna64 You're welcome. The Christmas Special was actually the result of a writer's strike. The 3rd season got cut short, so they threw together all those guest stars who had been asking for a chance to be on the show into that holiday madness. @Vaporman87 Yeah, his endless death scene was about the only memorable part of that movie. 2058ArticleHoju KoolanderI think I was just way to precious about my action figures to even get close to breaking them. I do remember a few chewed MOTU figure fingers, but nothing where the whole toy came apart. The closest I got to seeing G.I. Joes break was my friend's brother who would mix and match limbs to create new mutant characters. So I guess the fact that the figures were easily dismantled was a plus to him.Toy AnnihilationMar 02, 2015View
2059ArticlepikachuloverI have the 1992 book with Terminator and the Starting Lineup figures. The '92 book has the individual athletes. Robin Hood Prince of Thieves and Batman are in the '92 The ones for girl's toys were equally as good. I collect things like that. Pamphlets and backcards. Kenner Action Toy Guide '91Mar 06, 2015View
2060ArticleMr MagicGood article. I'm glad there's someone who likes Simba's Pride as much as I do. But when you do an article next time, please try to focus more on the text and less of the pictures. :)The Lion King 2 Simba's Pride: A HistoryMar 06, 2015View
2061ArticleVaporman87I love this type of promotional material. Sometimes you are given glimpses of products that never made it to the final stages. Perhaps interest fell off before the stuff could make out of the manufacturing facility, or some legal issue popped up. I know Trendmasters put out a promo book prior to them folding with images of what was supposed to come. I was particularly interested in the Godzilla: Doom Island line that saw limited distribution overseas but never made it to final worldwide distribution.Kenner Action Toy Guide '91Mar 06, 2015View
