3549ArticleHoju KoolanderI totally missed that photo of you as The Hatbox Ghost during my original read through, you continue to impress. How many people recognized the character? Dec 10, 2016View
3552ArticleNLoganOnly 2 people knew who I was supposed to be. Lots of people thought it was a mask and were surprised to find out it was make up. If you look very closely at the maxilla region above where my upper lip would be near the philtrum, you can see the line of the bottom of my nose. The nostrils are actually painted clear up on the bridge of my nose to try for more of a likeness to the character.Disney's Haunted Mansion Hat Box Ghost Dec 12, 2016View
3525ArticleVaporman87Battle Beasts! Believe or not I was loyal to Wood. Sorry man. You can make stuff out of wood. Fire... water... not so much. I didn't have too many of the figures. Just a few. The comic would have been an instant turn off for me, with no color. I had to have color in my comics or I simply wasn't interested. That's why I missed out on the Turtles in the comics, and some other cult favorites. Ah well. Action Figure Comics Review: Battle BeastsApr 27, 2016View
3528ArticleRick Ace RhodesI never had these given I was born sometime after them. However, a few years ago I found one while I was in High School. Around the holidays my school would organize this gift fair where people could buy gifts for their family and find free items as well. One of the things on a table was a container with a couple of Battle Beasts figures inside. I was shocked to see that there were figures of these still around.Action Figure Comics Review: Battle BeastsApr 28, 2016View
3536ArticleHoju Koolander@Vaporman87 I'm not say wood isn't useful, just that it's not technically an element. I made some awesome Pinewood Derbyshire cars back in my cub scout days. @Rick Ace Rhodes You forgot the obvious conclusion to your story, "Then I bought them all and it made my life complete." I feel like Battle Beasts are timeless. Any generation can enjoy warrior animals big enough to hide in your desk at school or office cubicle.Action Figure Comics Review: Battle BeastsApr 30, 2016View
3510ArticleVaporman87A lot of my exposure to Star Wars in my early days came in the form of merchandise. I don't remember ever watching the movies until around high school, by which time the films themselves would have been over and done with for about four or five years. It was in high school that my Star Wars nerd friend forced me to watch all the films on VHS tape... many times over. From there, I felt more of a connection to the story and the characters. I still wasn't a big Star Wars nerd, but I cared enough about it to collect a few movie related things here and there. Probably my favorite Star Wars merchandise was the Super Nintendo game series. Those games really did a good job of capturing what made the movies great.Star Wars: The Past AwakensApr 11, 2016View
3511Articleechidna64I agree, video games like Rogue Squadron and later with KOTOR and Battlefront were greatly influential in my love for Star Wars. Star Wars: The Past AwakensApr 11, 2016View
3518ArticleOldSchool80sI liked those Timothy Zahn books very much. I thought they did the best job of continuing the story in a style similar to the originals.Star Wars: The Past AwakensApr 17, 2016View
3543ArticleSockofFleagullsStar Wars Episode 4 was one of the first movies my family ever rented on VHS. In fact, it was sometime in the mid 80s when we had to rent the VCR too! It was for a birthday sleepover if I remember right and I'll never forgot how enamored I was watching this outer space story. Star Wars: The Past AwakensDec 08, 2016View
3526ArticleVaporman87Karate Man-Man 2.0 is awesome!!! I would totally pony up $30 bucks for him and the upgrades! LOL. Karate Man-Man would make an excellent villain in any toy line, but especially in the ninja world of Dutch and Hamato. He makes way more sense there. "Have at thee, lazy couch ninjas!"The Legend of Karate Man-ManApr 27, 2016View
