2430Articleechidna64Great memories Hoju! As we speak, I'm putting the curriculum together for my 10th grade students! Did anybody else have to cover your textbooks using brown grocery bags? I had one 4th grade teacher host a textbook cover contest to see who could draw the best design. Mine had a ton of robots drawn on it but I don't think I won anything.  Jul 31, 2015View
2480Articleechidna64Way to go Mass! This was a great read and I love the individual details you gave with each arcade game. This def takes me back, the Simpson's game and other 4-players games were epic! Area-51 is probably the only arcade game that I beat in its entirety. It was the right balance of fun vs difficult. I tried to stay away from the games that were coin-crunchers. Nowadays, the closest thing we have to the original mall arcades is Dave and BustersThe Mall ArcadeAug 07, 2015View
2516Articleechidna64This brings back a "web" of nostalgia. I miss Todd McFarlane's gritty take on the Spider-Man comics. Not gonna lie, I spun up a new trilogy in my mind once I heard that there would be another reboot of the film franchise. Regrettably, it might be a long time before see an older and more tortured Peter Parker ala Maximum Carnage. Spider-Man & Venom Action Figure Retrospective Part 2Aug 13, 2015View
2520Articleechidna64Thanks guys, it really was a great time to be a kid! Some of my best memories were playing Pokemon video games/card games with friends on camping trips, sleepovers, and summer camps. I would highly recommend getting your Pokemon game on, it's a wonderful adventure that needs to be experienced! Each version is super fun and very replayable!Age of PokemonAug 14, 2015View

2724Articleechidna64Best costume I ever made was from a couple years ago. I sewed together a ghost costume for a Deamau5 concert on Halloween; I even gave it a matching Space Invaders tattoo from the music video "Ghosts N Stuff." Making My Own Halloween CostumeSep 29, 2015View

2919Articleechidna64Great job NLogan! I'm the first to admit that I'm a skeptic and that "I ain't afraid of no ghosts," but I did have an experience with the paranormal. In the historic Gaslamp district of San Diego, I used to live in a building that was once a brothel in which several people reported paranormal experiences. One night I was awakened by bright lights from an unknown source. Another night I felt my bed weigh down as if someone was sleeping next to me. As I laid there, too afraid to move, I could hear heavy breathing. I laid there now fully awake for about 5 minutes as the breathing continued. I was too scared to face the apparition of what I believed to be a once-dead prostitute. I exclaimed "leave me alone!" At which point my bed returned to normal and the noises stopped.
