| 2539 | Article | Vaporman87 | No doubt, that was a tearjerker for me growing up. I loved the movie so much, but it was hard to get through the whole thing sometimes knowing what was to come. When I first saw the film, the tension that was building when Atreyu tries to pass by the Oracle Statues really had me biting my nails. I'll never forget that feeling. As an adult, you expect things to turn out okay for the protagonist because if it doesn't, the moviegoers will be very upset. But as a kid, you figure his chances are about as good as your own, and that doesn't inspire confidence. LOL Like you said though, the ending makes it all worth it. I was reminded (by the article) that I too once owned a few of the Land Before Time vinyl puppets. They were really well done. I can't say I ever wore out a copy of the Coming Out Of Their Shells Tour cassette, but I did wear out my cassette of the Turtles movie soundtrack.
