3205 | Article | mickyarber | Very good read. I always like it to hear stories of when kids realize who the real "Santa" is, and especially stories where you can feel the heartfelt gratitude coming through for him just like in this story. Good job. | Dec 13, 2015
3229 | Article | mickyarber | Yeah....this dude seemed to be out there a little bit. BUT, it has given me an idea of something to do with a box of old, random, assorted action figures. Maybe I'll do something like this next year. Build a pop culture Christmas party featuring Rambo, Mr. T, Hulk Hogan, Alf, He-Man, and the rest. Seems like that would have been a unique evening touring the place. Can't wait to see the rest. | Retro Christmas Wonderland Part 1 | Dec 19, 2015
3230 | Article | mickyarber | I just read your story to my daughters, and my oldest wants to check to see if our church has a program like that. | Christmas Yuleogy | Dec 20, 2015

3415 | Article | mickyarber | Back in '88 while going through NYC, my family got lost in Chinatown. That was kinda scary to a 10 year old. Really fun article. | China Town | Mar 04, 2016
3416 | Article | mickyarber | Welcome! Good effort on your first article. I too once had a place like that I could visit. It was called Buck Fever for some d*mn reason. It was in the early 90's, and that store was capitalizing on the hot markets for sports cards and comic books. I remember my older brother and his best friend taking me there the day Superman #75 came out and I was instantly hooked. We would go every other week when they got paid and drop some cash. At the time, we lived about a half hour away from that store. Now, I live just 5 minutes from there and pass it on the way to the kids school and back...and a lot of times driving by, I shudder when I look over and see an insurance office where the great Buck Fever used to be. | Blast to the Past! | Mar 05, 2016
3422 | Article | mickyarber | One of my favorites was the Pilot for the Roddy Piper / Jesse Ventura show called Tag Team. It featured Piper and Ventura as wrestlers who stopped a crime, and then decided to go into the detective business. The pilot wasn't bad actually, but it was just never picked up. | 5 Pro Wrestlers In Prime Time | Mar 06, 2016
3423 | Article | mickyarber | I just listened to the Bonus podcast, and you guys did a great job. A lot of what was discussed, I already knew, but was fascinated learning more about VaporMan! I'm always down with listening to people discuss their play time memories and their favorite individual toys and such. My friends and I do that most Saturday nights. Just sit around and discuss this very thing. Kudos on the great episode, and if you ever want someone to just sit around and shoot the breeze about G.I. Joe, give me a holler! | Lost Sequels of the 80s | Mar 06, 2016
3427 | Article | mickyarber | Cool deal. I'm not real good with "facts", but I'm the king of memories brother. | Lost Sequels of the 80s | Mar 07, 2016
