3984ArticleCyrogenicStar Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace rules. It wasn't the best Star Wars film or even the best film of the Prequels, but it is certainly my favorite of the Star Wars Saga and I'm tired of seeing nerds still trashing it along with the other two Prequels on sites like this. I mean the Prequels came out in 1999-2005. That almost 20 years ago now. To kids like me who grew up in in the 2000's, The Prequels was our Star Wars and meant as much to us as the Originals did to 70's/80's kids. Most of those who grew up with the Prequels are also adults now and it's time we had a bigger voice and be allowed to express nostalgia for something we grew up with. Jul 05, 2017View
3982ArticleOldSchool80sI normally try to stay in the 80s lane, but I do know 90s pretty well, too. I don't think you can possibly put Good Burger or Wild Wild West on the Top Summer Movies of the entire 90s decade. The other 3 can definitely be considered. Here are a few that could round out the Top 5: Independence Day, Armageddon, Speed, True Lies, The Lion King, There's Something About Mary, Apollo 13, The Fugitive... just to name a few.Top Five 90s Summer MoviesJul 05, 2017View

3979ArticleHoju KoolanderI have to disagree with you on Good Burger. I was a regular viewer of All That as a kid, but didn't bother to see the film in the 90s. I just watched it for the first time last year and it's actually hilarious. The humor is pretty subversive and clever for adults if you read between the lines. Look for a mention of the T2 stage show in an upcoming article of mine. I guess with the Terminator 2 3-D re-release coming soon, it's in the air. Top Five 90s Summer MoviesJul 05, 2017View

3976ArticleNLoganI never had a Sega but I played the crap out the arcade version just for the transformation into a werewolf aspect. I never got very far as it was pretty hard to get past the second level, for me at least.Altered BeastJul 04, 2017View
3975ArticleNLoganI watched Jurassic Park multiple times in the theater in 1993. Terminator II was awesome in the theater in 1991. After waiting 16 years since Return of the Jedi in 1983 the excitement was in the air in May of 1999. There was a countdown on the news counting off the days until the movie release for The Phantom Menace. It was the first time in my life I remember seeing people lining up in advance to get movie tickets. I remember everyone cheering as the Lucasfilm logo appeared on screen. I tried hard to like it but I was severely disappointed. Ray Park as Darth Maul and Ewan McGregor as Obi Wan Kenobi were the only saving graces. I remember thinking wow they even screwed up Yoda who was a puppet. No matter the amount of eye rolls today when the movie is mentioned I will always remember the excitement building up to its release.Top Five 90s Summer MoviesJul 04, 2017View
3974ArticleHoju KoolanderI am totally blown away by the revelation that Three's Company had a sequel series. I can't believe I missed that. Robert Ginty aka "The Paper Chase Guy" was also the lead in a film featured on Mystery Science Theater 3000 called Warrior of the Lost World. I wonder if StreetHawk was just too expensive to produce like The Flash TV series from 1990. It got decent ratings, they just couldn't justify the cost to keep making it.1984 TV Guide Fall Preview: ABCJul 01, 2017View
