3677ArticleVaporman87I can't imagine a more thorough list of cereals that any kid would want to choose from on a Saturday morning! I would reach for almost any of these as a kid (except maybe some of the healthier fare). I REALLY want one of those Masters of the Universe fuzzy iron-ons (because one of the characters is ROBOTO!). I have right now in my possession one or two of those Sugar Bear Christmas plushes. I had them for use in one of the Christmas Goodie Packs but didn't use them. I actually did not know they made noise upon squeezing them. I'll have to try them to see if they still work.  Jan 11, 2017View
2907ArticleVaporman87I can't imagine the fear you must have felt just prior to realizing the prank that had been played on you. That would definitely be something I NEVER forgot. A great tale of childhood shenanigans. It's great that you were able to revisit that "sacred" place in your memories. That too, would be quite memorable.Urban Legend visit of my youth-revisitedOct 14, 2015View
3627ArticleRick Ace RhodesI can't really remember ever asking for something and not receiving it. I didn't really ask for much around the holidays when I was a kid, I would often make out a small list of things, and most of my presents that followed were either things my family thought I would like or things they heard me mention and thought would be a good gift. There are some darker sides to Christmas though. Not getting to spend it with certain family members because of either family drama, falling outs or them just not being able to travel home. There's sad aspects but I guess you just have to focus on the good.Christmas 64Dec 22, 2016View
4607ArticleBenjanimei can't recall too well of the halloween related activities my schools had, except for one when i believe was during preschool and the entire class took part in a beanbag toss and earning candy. but to make things fair the teacher made sure nobody felt like a loser and everyone got an equal amount of candy, regardless if they missed shots.Retrojunk Classic: The 90's Holiday Trilogy: HalloweenOct 06, 2018View
3538ArticleVaporman87I can't remember much about my skateboard growing up, except that I'm fairly certain it had too much pink on it for my tastes. I was never proficient at skateboarding, but I managed to get good enough to stay on without busting my head open.Skate or DieMay 01, 2016View
2650ArticleVaporman87I can't say I care too much for the flavor or texture of those little mellowcream pumpkins, but I have to give it to you... this is pure genius. LOL I wish I would have thought to do this in my youth. I would have had a blast turning my Joes into pumpkin people, all with varying face designs. If you DO make a few here in the present, I must see them! LOLMellowcreme MadnessSep 15, 2015View

5377ArticleVaporman87I can't say I ever felt anything for the girls in my elementary school, save for one who was only there for one school year. So for me, during that time, Valentine's Day was the chance for candy and doing crafts.Getting the shaft after Valentines DayFeb 04, 2021View
5472ArticleBenjanimei can't say i was a fan of CCF once they replaced the cartoon hosts with the two live action hosts, but during its earlier years it was one of the best starts of the weekend ever. i was kinda starting to lose interest in the network by 2007 anyway as i didn't find much to watch at the time aside from toonami. speaking of which i'm probably one of the few that hated seeing tom with cartoon eyes lol.A Closer Look At: Cartoon Cartoon FridaysAug 17, 2021View
908ArticleVaporman87I can't say I watch any particular feature length films to get into the Christmas spirit (though, I like watching Scrooged around this time of year). I settle for the short specials that air every year. But now I just pop them in the DVD player instead of looking for them in the TV Guide. Some favorites of mine are Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, Frosty The Snowman, Twas The Night Before Christmas (Rankin-Bass), the Chipmunks Christmas, A Charlie Brown Christmas, etc. All of your choices are very interesting though. I've never really thought to watch any of these during Christmas, though they take place during that time of year. Thanks again Miss M!Dorkette Christmas TraditionsDec 14, 2013View
