5017ArticleRabbitearsblogI grew up reading the Berenstain books when I was little and I enjoyed reading those books ever since! My favorites were "Forget their Manners," "No Girls Allowed" and "Learn about Strangers!" Aug 18, 2019View
3900ArticleVaporman87A great list here Mick. For my own list, I would have had to add Sorry and Trouble. Sorry in particular was a staple of any board gaming session. It was pretty much the go-to game for me. Nice plug for Retro Manic! by the way. LOL. It's a game that is bound to be more fun when you can play it with others who can create some good trivia questions for use in the game. Typically I don't even use those cards when playing with the kids.Board Games I've LovedMay 26, 2017View
3913ArticleHoju KoolanderAll classics. I think I played Monopoly more than the others, but had I owned Operation it would have been my favorite. I'm waiting for my kids to get older so we can get into games like Retro Manic, I hear good things ;)Board Games I've LovedMay 28, 2017View
3986ArticleSupermanI'm a huge fan of board games. I've got tons of fond memories of playing them with my cousin and my mom when I was a kid. My favorite was always Checkers because I was practically unbeatable at it within our household.Board Games I've LovedJul 10, 2017View

3884ArticlejkatzSince the last time this article was published, I sat down and watched Jack of All Trades..oy. Even for a campy adventure series starring Bruce Campbell of all people, it refused to take itself seriously a bit too much for my tastes. At least I'll always have the theme song.5 Nearly Forgotten TV ShowsMay 09, 2017View
3886ArticleHoju KoolanderThough I'm not into westerns, the concept of Outlaws is fantastic. Basically a reverse Back To The Future Part 3, if Buford "Mad Dog" Tannen got the DeLorean. maybe I'll try to find the original TV movie at least.5 Nearly Forgotten TV ShowsMay 09, 2017View

3838ArticleVaporman87Actually Mickey, that Fantastic Four film was NEVER intended to be released. That's why it never was. It was only made in order for the Marvel license to be kept by the studio (apparently some kind of stipulation in the agreement). There is a whole documentary on the film. Hoju can give you any and all details on The Shadow. He loves the movie. I remember going to see that Jason movie. I can even remember that my best friend and I left the theater and went straight to Hardee's afterward. Why I remember that, I don't know. And yes, The Stand was a stellar mini-series. I remember in college it was a huge event. We all gathered around the TV in our apartment every night it was on to catch the show.Andy Mangels Hollywood Heroes From May 1993Apr 23, 2017View
3853ArticlejkatzOh my God..Steven Spielberg working with Rob Liefeld? There's a strong chance that this would've been terrible, but amazing to watch..like a massive trainwreck. At first I thought they were going to be working on a movie for Doom (as in the game), and my heart kipped a beat. That would've been the most "1990s" project of all time.Andy Mangels Hollywood Heroes From May 1993Apr 23, 2017View
