5245 | Article | onipar | Nickelodeon was such a huge part of my childhood. I used to love any extra little promotion that would make the end of summer a little less devastating. | Aug 16, 2020
3994 | Article | Vaporman87 | I tried so hard to stay awake some nights as a kid, but often found it to be futile. However, when I was able to do so, Elvira was always there to greet me. Her and old Godzilla movies. And if I made it almost all the way through, I would be treated to random women in leotards and leg warmers sticking their butts in my face while saxophone music played. Seriously... who was watching this? | Late Night Re-runs (Circa mid-80s) | Jul 22, 2017

4001 | Article | OldSchool80s | Hey Laz, thanks for sharing. What a strange combination of shows. I remember watching Battlestar when it was in primetime, but not really in syndication where I grew up. I do remember watching Family Affair in syndication, but it was during the day (not late at night). I do have fond memories of staying up late to watch Elvira's scary movies, but it might be more fond memories of just seeing the sexy Elvira herself. One thing I remember staying up late on Saturday nights to watch in the market I grew up was wrestling shows. They showed World Class Championship Wrestling out of Dallas late on Saturday nights and then I also remember that was when GLOW was on as well. I also loved getting to stay up late to watch Saturday Night Live when I was deemed old enough for that. | Late Night Re-runs (Circa mid-80s) | Jul 22, 2017
4016 | Article | Hoju Koolander | Late night TV was always an adventure. I remember Hercules In New York playing a lot in the 1am slot, with Arnold making his pecs dance. I also watched a lot of The Patty Duke Show late on Nick At Nite when I couldn't sleep as a kid. That and Doby Gillis were always in rotation for me along with the old Dennis The Menace show starring Jay North. | Late Night Re-runs (Circa mid-80s) | Jul 25, 2017

4043 | Article | Superman | I liked him back when his seasons were airing. Sure, he was pretty arrogant at times, but his survival skills/athletic abilities made him seem kind of cool to me at the time. I was pretty shocked to find out about his crimes when the news broke. It's too bad that a man who was part of some of the show's most memorable moments turned out to be such a terrible person. | Washed Up Celebrities: Michael Skupin | Aug 07, 2017
4046 | Article | Rick Ace Rhodes | @Superman Same here. I didn't know about his crimes until sometime in June when I saw a joke on the sub-reddit for Survivor that was about it. It was shocking to hear about, but at the end he's gotten what he deserved. His crimes are simply unforgivable. | Washed Up Celebrities: Michael Skupin | Aug 08, 2017
4144 | Article | Superman | I don't think I ever had anything you mentioned in this article, but it's still a nice look at fast food's past. I am kind of surprised that McDonald's serving pizza was a thing without me ever knowing, though. | Retro Fast Food That is No More | Sep 23, 2017
4147 | Article | Hoju Koolander | I thought McDonald's Pizza was totally extinct, but now you're telling me there are 2 locations that still serve it? Pair that with a McSalad Shaker and I'm ready to roll! | Retro Fast Food That is No More | Sep 24, 2017 |
