Mostly I wanted any Pontiac Firebird replicas that I could use as KITT from Knight Rider. Also, when I managed a Kay-Bee Toys in he early 2000's, die cast cars were the most shoplifted items. I watched the Americanized Masked Rider show briefly and though it was goofy, I'll always love it for introducing me toy favorite "so bad it's good" movie, Tiger Heart featuring the star T.J. Roberts. @Rick Ace Rhodes I have seen a few episodes of the In Space version and thought it was a cool re-invention of the franchise, even if it seemingly falls into the "what do you do when a show runs out of ideas? I used to see the manuals and game boxes for the Marvel role playing game at the hobby shop where I would purchase my Marvel Universe trading cards. I also had that Wolverine poster and it has defined the character for me all these years. That's what we needed Hugh Jackman to be decked out in, at least for one film. My friends and I started our own comic book company in 6th grade, hoping to cash in on the 90s comic book boom, with all original characters, sadly our fledgling line never made I past the debut issues (or my friend's bedroom). Pryde of The X-Men was always a welcome sight coming after other Marvel produced cartoons like RoboCop and Dino-Riders on Sunday mornings. I have a later issue of Marvel Age that promotes a graphic novel they produced using animation stills from that pilot episode, after the series didn't get picked up. I mean Marvel still has a lot of their movie characters on Doritos, Skittles and even Kleenex boxes around the time of movie release dates, but those are movie tie-ins, not the illustrated comic book characters promoting Go-Gurt for example. You see The Avengers everywhere, but it's like movie concept art. So engaging and truly twisted take on what the Captain Marvel concept could be. But I had a light up He-Man power sword at one point for my role play fun. Alot of the older kids I knew had these original figures and vehicles, so I did play with them.
