3426ArticleHoju KoolanderAll great mentions of additional wrestler appearances on TV. I think there were also quite a few cameos on an 80s wrestling based sitcom called "Learning the Ropes" starring former pro football player, Lyle Alzedo, forgot to mention. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yeqBYt5aEA Mar 07, 2016View
3441ArticleHoju Koolander@Vaporman87 For me, every day of gym class was an embarrassing experience. @echidna64 Mom's are so clueless, yet so loveable. @Rick Ace Rhodes I feel like we need to know what kind of a scene you were making at graduation. I personally wore a large, vintage KISS belt buckle outside my graduation gown with no shame whatsoever.Childhood Embarrassment 9021-D'oh!Mar 14, 2016View
3443ArticleHoju Koolander@Rick Ace Rhodes That is indeed a loud and inescapable moment of embarrassment right there. Childhood Embarrassment 9021-D'oh!Mar 14, 2016View
3444ArticleHoju KoolanderI was so glad to see the Etch-A-Sketch scenes make an appearance. Aside the General Lee Hot Wheels car, that was my sole piece of merchandise and I loved it.Random Dukes of Hazzard MerchandiseMar 14, 2016View
3479ArticleHoju KoolanderI was just telling my wife about Superman Peanut Butter last week. It was always a request of mine at the supermarket, but I usually had to settle for Peter Pan brand as my fictional character tie-in condiment. I can't believe I missed the Super-hero burger, but if it was only around for a month, i guess that explains it.Foods Long Gone: The SequelMar 23, 2016View
3483ArticleHoju Koolander@Vaporman87 Yeah, they stacked those other shows with so many goofy characters, it's almost like they thought kids were tuning in to see Bulk and Skull every week (I secretly kinda was). @pikachulover That's cool that you have VR Troopers connection. It would have been very strange to see "Tommy" heading up another show, but it would definitely made VR Troopers more watchable. @echidna64 Though I only watched the later series sporadically over the years, I think Power Rangers actually got a little cooler with the later versions like Power Rangers Lost Galaxy and SPD. Putting them in space just made more sense.Mighty Morphin Ripoff Rangers Part 2Mar 24, 2016View
3484ArticleHoju Koolander@Vaporman87 My wife is totally requesting that I test our PrankDial on her. it sounds so sophisticated. @pikachulover that's pretty hilarious. Celebrity based prank calls are a whole different category. Tricking little kids into thinking their favorite hero is calling could be cruel or cool. @echidna64 Yeah, dating calls on the phone were tricky. If you were trying to avoid someone, there wasn't much you could do to prevent it and if you wanted the call there was little to be done about siblings getting to the phone first and embarrassing you.Old School Phones: Mystery CallersMar 24, 2016View
3485ArticleHoju Koolander@massreality You had the same dilemma? That's comforting and disturbing for both of us. I never thought of the "sophisticated" toy angle, but you're right, it would have been a completely mature purchase to make. It wasn't like it was a Polly Pocket, that's kid's stuff.Childhood Embarrassment 9021-D'oh!Mar 24, 2016View
3504ArticleHoju KoolanderStick Sticky made my 90's summers memorable as well. I always wanted the spinner to land on Salute Your Shorts.Long Lost 90s: Nick in the AfternoonApr 07, 2016View
3512ArticleHoju KoolanderThere actually seemed to be quite a bit of consistency between this comics interpretation, the cartoon pilot and the toy makers on this one, which was pretty impressive. The toys themselves were just too similar, unlike MOTU that had such varied character designs.Action Figure Comics Review - VisionariesApr 11, 2016View
