5048ArticleVaporman87Man, these are all perfect choices Ben. The only glaring omission (in my opinion) is Maniac Mansion. Nice pick with Parasite Eve! I had forgotten all about that game, and it was excellent. Sep 27, 2019View
5049ArticleVaporman87Gex, to me, was going to be the successor to Mario and Sonic. But, like many platformer mascots before (and since), he just didn't resonate with a really large audience. Too bad too, because he was a great character. I would put him up there with Toe Jam Remembering GexSep 27, 2019View
5050ArticleVaporman87All three of these are perfect choices, but I don't know how you could ever narrow the many amazing Halloween ads down to three. There are just far too many good ones for me to ever pick three.Top Three Favorite Halloween AdsSep 27, 2019View
5122ArticleVaporman87That Whitesnake tune is all too familiar. I recall the time a former Stepdad of mine tried using that song to heal the relationship with he and my mom after his um... infidelity. She fell for it for a little while, but the relationship didn't last much longer after that.DJ Hoodie's Retro Post-Breakup SongsFeb 20, 2020View
5080ArticleVaporman87This was a very timely article considering the recent 40th Anniversary of the Happy Meal and the release of several Happy Meal toys from years past.Favorite 1990s Happy Meal ToysNov 09, 2019View
5121ArticleVaporman87I truly believe the world needs to be better flame retarded. I mean, just look at all the wildfires we have. We should be holding signs in protest that read, "Retard the World!" But in all seriousness, having held some of these items in my hands, I can say that Tonka sure gave it their best effort in an attempt to compete with Transformers, but in the end GoBots was just missing that special something that isn't always capable of being pinpointed. I had some of the figures myself, and I did play with them, but it just wasn't the same.GoBots Merchandise RevisitedFeb 07, 2020View
5125ArticleVaporman87
Great topic for an article. The first thing that comes to mind for me, is a very well done episode of He-Man and The MOTU called "The Problem with Power". In it, He-Man is tricked into believing that he has accidentally killed somebody by Skeletor. It is the only time we see He-Man transform BACK into Prince Adam, and he decides to relinquish his powers because of his actions. The episode uses a fair amount of shadowing on the characters, which was not often used because of the time and budget limitations placed on Filmation for the cartoon.

Serious Topics in Kids ShowsFeb 20, 2020View
5132VideoVaporman87I know Rick Ace Rhodes has mentioned there were some videos that weren’t working and he couldn’t approve. Maybe yours was among them. I’ll check it out.Paula Abdul for Reebok (1989)Feb 24, 2020View
5134ArticleVaporman87In my youth, I had several of the figures. I recall not liking the varying heights of the characters. Lion-O was like a giant, while Panthro was like the ThunderCats version of Wolverine... short and stubby. That annoyed me. Plus I was used to the MOTU style of figure, with all the characters being the same height, proportion, etc. Still, the cartoon was awesome and there was tons of other cool merch out there.Vintage ThunderCats MerchandiseMar 05, 2020View
5137ArticleVaporman87@Ben: I did indeed, and they look great. As Julie said, much more faithful to the cartoon designs.Vintage ThunderCats MerchandiseMar 06, 2020View
