3390ArticleVaporman87That's quite a varied list of favorite library books, V. I didn't read anything but magazines and comics growing up. I hated reading. LOL. Though, when it came to our school library, they did have a few things that caught my interest. They have been mentioned in forum thread... a series of books on monsters and other cool subjects. The name of them escapes me at the moment. Feb 28, 2016View
5697ArticleRetroOtaku620That's pretty cool! I think I might have to do my own review article on the RetroN 5, specifically the special edition that I got.Retron 5 ReviewDec 29, 2022View
2950ArticleVaporman87That's one thing I wanted to avoid when choosing a costume for trick or treating... I didn't want to be predictable. I wanted to keep people guessing as to what I would be each year.Gwen Costume 2000Oct 15, 2015View
3373ArticleVaporman87That's just some awful parenting right there. What person asks a kid to give another kid their belongings just to make them shut up? I'm pretty sure I would have made an even bigger stink than the other kid, just to make the adults think twice about taking my stuff and giving it to some whiny brat. The PurseFeb 19, 2016View

2670ArticlekidcoffeeThat's horrible, but I've been there. In college I somehow managed to get my hands on a mint on card original Lando Calrissian action figure I wound up underselling for beer money. I am still kicking myself and if time travel ever becomes a reality I am so going back to kick my own butt. Menace ManiaSep 18, 2015View
1208ArticlevkimoThat's hilarious about the TV set! I remember seeing the first Plasma TVs that came out with my parents at a high end electronics store. 10,000 dollars! It looked amazing then I bet a 200 Wal-Mart TV looks better now. It seems like the furniture market is dominated by a few large companies now. I remember back in California you could go downtown to San Francisco and get the cheap chinese furniture from various warehouse stores. I wish I had pictures of this stuff, the designs were outrageous. Zebra print couched, lamps with hydra like bulbs...it was great. Retro ThriftingSep 07, 2014View

1596ArticlefuschniktThat's fantastic, letting him be a part of Santa for his brother. I absolutely love that. I've read that some people are actually worried about backlash along the lines of, "you lied to me and I hate you." But I find that fear to be silly. You got it right with him. We aren't lying, it's about creating something fun and special for our kids to enjoy. Well played, sir. 1990 - The Year Santa DiedDec 10, 2014View
