1713 | Article | NLogan | Dancing Coke can, NES, torn knee jeans, mini trampoline seat, possible King Hiss figure or WF Wrestling Superstars Terry Funk in the basket, Power Punch Batman, two plush generic cars, generic wooden bead maze, a dead parrot or upside-down horse head behind you, and some battleship looking toy on the floor, now that is what I am talking about. It was actually a triple-dog-dare as I went straight for the throat but then backed off as I thought it might be too harsh. Nice picture. | Dec 20, 2014
1605 | Article | fuschnikt | Dang! Thankfully I already have a set. Finally got it about four years ago. Just shy of two decades after the story. | 1990 - The Year Santa Died | Dec 11, 2014
2124 | Article | Mr Magic | Danny wasn't the funniest of TV dads, but he was sincere and loving to his daughters, which are key elements to being a good father. But is it wrong to be committed to cleanliness? Yes, it is. We all have to draw the line somewhere. | Top 5 TV Dads of the 80's | Mar 20, 2015

1193 | Article | Vaporman87 | Darn it! I don't know how many times now I have read about kids in school having cool parties (pajama parties, pizza parties, etc.). We never had parties in school. Maybe occasionally we would not have to actually do work in class, and instead sit and talk and snack, but we never had parties. We did have a Halloween celebration in elementary school though. It too had a Haunted House set up in one of the classrooms, and the gymnasium was littered with games, food, and contests. It was fun! | TDitH goes Back to School | Sep 03, 2014

5117 | Article | Badkarma | Dear Abby touches on this in an article called 'longing for the past casts shadows on the future'. She describes nostalgia as a kind of pain (jonesing) for times long gone. Interesting perspective, but anyone feeling this way should seek professional help pronto cuz it's just stupid to agonize over stupid shit from your stupid childhood, especially since you're a stupid grown up still crying for your stupid ninja turtle plushie that used to let you have your way w/ it. So, get help. Or laid. Dumbass. | RetroJunk Classic: The Magic of Nostalgia | Feb 04, 2020
2967 | Article | NLogan | Definitely reminiscent of Revenge of the Nerds but that was a poor man's Darth Vader knock off this was the real deal. The synth pop techno keyboard finally is classic but who could have guessed Alex would instead opt for the slow play and ditch the girl only to get her back once she had learned some humility in high school, then go cruising around in his Camaro? Could happen. I actually ignored my wife when I first met her because my twin brother had a crush on her and was drooling when she came over. Tower this is Ghost Rider requesting a flyby. Negative, Ghost Rider the pattern is full. | Fright Night - A Retro Narrative | Oct 16, 2015
5686 | Article | Mr Magic | Definitely sounds inviting. I tried the Virtual Boy at a Blockbuster kiosk one time. I was playing some kind of tennis game. I don't think I've used Virtual Boy after that. | The Sad Fate of the Virtual Boy | Sep 05, 2022
