Mr Magic
One of those shows where you avoided doing homework long enough to watch.

The Warner Brothers and the Warner Sister were insane, but you wouldn't have wanted them any other way.

I liked this over Tiny Toons.

Mr Magic
That was brilliant. A perfect parody of the Rangers.

Today on "Mime Time"...

after the parodies that have been made from the show in the past, the possibilities are endless on what the reboot could make fun of, that is if this idea gets approved.

Sure, you can reboot any of the 90's classic cartoons, but what you can't reboot is the 1990's.

By 1996 my television had become an animation fun factory with weekday morning shows before school, after school broadcasts, and Saturday/Sunday favorite lineups.

We are all witnesses to the greatest decade of animation on broadcast television - the 90's are a tough act to follow!.

Here is just one example from 1996 of what I'm talking about.
What are the odds that CBS would broadcast a cartoon like this ever again?

I think many people don't remember that Felix cartoon. For a while I felt like I was the only person who watched it.

@Ben:

If this reboot gets approved, I can bet ya it won't be on Fox in the afternoon. Them days are over.

My only point is that when you cherry pick cartoons from the past for a reboot you discover that what made the show awesome was all the other awesome toons airing at the same time.

"Batman: The Animated Series" was the opening round in what eventually turned out to be the most amazing era of cartoons on television. Like you guys I am grateful to have witnessed the spectacle of toons closing out the 20th century.

Fear not,  I'm looking forward to all the new projects heading our way. There's a new generation of kids ready for the next wave of animation domination.
