Mountain Dew that tastes like Doritos. Who's the genius who came up with this?

Speaking for myself, I haven't drank any soda since February 12th of this year. I decided to take a break from it after having drank so much of it on my most recent trip to Florida. The idea of Doritos-flavored soda isn't doing anything to tempt me back to drinking it.

I don't like soda, and I don't like Doritos. So this is either doubly abhorrent to me, or it's just another soda I wouldn't like. I haven't decided which yet.
Now I know a guy who likes both of those things a whole lot, and somebody asked for his opinion on the facebook. He said orange colored soda that isn't orange-the-fruit flavored is just flat out wrong. |

My reaction to this is summed up best by Mary in Shake's avatar.

I like a bottle of mexican coke on occasion. Other than that I stay away from soda, and like Caps said, this isn't making a good case for drinking more of the stuff.
The women of New Vegas ask me a lot if there's a Mrs. New Vegas. Well, of course there is! You're her. And you're still just as perfect as the day we met.

Red Bull Cola was the only soda I ever made a habit of buying.

Mountain Dew and Doritos might go good separately, but not so much combined. It'll never work.

I've had bacon soda, corn soda, buffalo wing soda and other weird flavors that i'm probably forgetting but i wouldn't try that.

There's very little chance that tastes like anything other than garbage.
Having said that, I would absolutely try it. There's no way it's worse than Beverly soda and I've unfortunatelytried/survived that. |

I think I might try it. IDK. I'm supposed to be cutting back on the soda anyway. Doctors orders.
