I can also remember the first drive-in movie I saw.  It was 1989's Batman.  My parents took me to the Moonlight Theater in Bristol VA.  They sat in the backseat and tried to ruin the experience for me by acting like they were making out the whole time.

vkimo just made my day.

As for me, I don't remember what my first film was. I know I was definitely seeing stuff by 1998 (I remember several films from that year like Godzilla, Small Soldiers, Rugrats and etc). I definitely saw films before that though. If I had to make a straight forward guess, I would probably say it was either Toy Story or James in the Giant Peach.

We have a really nice drive-in here where we live.  They do a lot of fun promotions to keep bringing in business and keep themselves financially healthy.  On Wednesday nights, it's $10 for a car load.  No matter how many people you can pile in your car or truck, it's only $10.  So for my little family of four, we can pay $10 for a movie, stop and get a Little Caesars Pizzas pizza for $5, and we have a family night out for just $15.

They also stream live concerts too. For a big act, they have a live local act before the concert and then stream the show.  Big sporting events too...they host a tail gate party and then stream the big game there.  It's always a lot of fun.

This year, they are showing Wrestlemania, and before the actual event itself, they have a local wrestling promotion doing a show.
