Well, this is interesting. In the course of the next couple weeks, Teennick's The 90s Are All That block is going to be airing a few 90s Nick shows that's not included on the regular lineup. Starting Monday, they're going to be showing one episode of The Secret World of Alex Mack and My Brother and Me a day mixed with Hey Arnold marathons. The week after, they're going to be showing Kenan and Kel marathons that also includes an episode of Aaaah Real Monsters and Rocket Power.
Even though, this is one episode mixed with a set of marathons of the shows that's already been overplayed on the block. Still, it does feel like a nice change of pace to see other shows not included on the regular lineup. Especially My Brother and Me which hasn't aired anywhere since roughly around 1999/2000, and no high quality version of the episodes is shown anywhere around the internet.

I wish My Brother and Me lasted longer than it did.

This is interesting to see. I don't know if I'd call them high quality, but My Brother and Me episodes are uploaded on YouTube to watch... the quality is fine to watch to my standards to enjoy it.
I agree with Crow, as it only lasted 13 episodes. Another sad thing is that the mom in the series passed away in October of 2007. They should release this show onto DVD, but I doubt they see it as profitable to do so. Have a great day!

Alex Mack just aired today. Tomorrow, My Brother and Me will come on.
Also, Nick and More reported that on the week of January 6-12, Hey Dude and Salute Your Shorts will be airing back to back for a week. For those who does not know, Hey Dude was on The 90s Are All That's regular schedule in October 2011, but was removed in November. Salute Your Shorts has popped up on occasions, but was never included on the regular lineup due to it's short run. Even though this might only be a one time thing, I will say this, it's kind of nice to start seeing some variety pop up on the block in the coming weeks. Most of the time, it's just the same old Rugrats and Hey Arnold episodes being overplayed. It's also because of that block that I may never watch Kenan and Kel ever again. |

It's cool that they're thinking about the older Nick fans.

Otherwise, we would have gotten a whole variety of classic Nick shows a long time ago. This block seems to have been created because they saw how much 90s Nick has been trending. It also doesn't help that they've been trolling their fans by putting Rocko's Modern Life and The Angry Beavers on the regular lineup for a few weeks, and then yanking them off again. Also, don't even get me started on that GAWD-F***ING awful cat event they did back in September. |
