The commercials section on the home page isn't nearly as active as it once was. As a vintage commercial lover, this breaks my heart. So, why don't I make a thread instead?

From 2006, I've always considered “The Replacements” as a Saturday morning commercial for Fleemco Inc.

I used to laugh at the 1960 Ford Galaxy until I found out the the car was over 80 inches wide, wider than a 1960 Cadillac. That Galaxy sedan really could seat six adults!
Time to get fancy with the elegance of Polaner All Fruit (don't call it jelly) |

It's a crime to call it jelly lol
Also, the next time you buy some salsa, you better make sure it comes from San Antonio.

Hey MM, I thought all salsa comes from New York City!
1972 was the year Exxon went national. ![]() Standard Oil went by different names in different regions of the country. In my neck of the woods, the name was Humble Oil & Refining Company. The "Esso" logo was added in 1960 but only in certain states along the east coast.
At the time, Exxon was the largest national rebranding event.

NEW YORK CITY?!?!
What a treat it is to see the famous ad characters come together in one incredible ad! I miss seeing the Exxon sign.
And now for some more animated ad fun.
Soaping dulls the hair. Halo glorifies it.
