Rachael Lillis, who voiced Misty, Jessie, and Jigglypuff from the Pokémon anime passed away from breast cancer on the evening of the 10th, but news didn't come out of it until today. She was 46 years old.

Fellow Pokémon voice actress Veronica Taylor had also left a post on her Twitter, sharing her condolences.

Man, way too many famous people deaths this year! WAY too many!

RIP, Rachael. Thanks for doing great voice work for great, memorable anime characters!

Had a cartoon crush on Misty, right from the Indigo League series don't cha know! But Pokémon really hit the right paring when Misty captured Psyduck. It's a comedy match made in heaven.

As the voice of "Jessie", Rachael Lillis must have had quite a few laugh attacks because, in hindsight, Team Rocket had some of the best lines and zingers in the entire Pokémon franchise.
