Let me just ask this... wasn't the 1970s original about a solid family working hard to make their lives better while it has its ups and downs? meanwhile this feels like one of those low brow adult shots that wouldn't last more than a season on Comedy Central.

Wow.  Yeah, I don't see this lasting too long.

The original Good Times was about bringing love and laughter through hard times. I don't think this show has anything to do with those things.
