The sequel to The Shining.

Is it worth watching?

It's not a perfect movie, but I enjoyed it. I did read the book first too, and have also read The Shining. What's interesting is that they attempt to make the movie a sequel to both the oroiginal movie *and* the original book. The extended cut is insanely long. 

I honestly didn't know there was a sequel til I saw it at Wal-Mart last night. It's got me curious.

Dang it. I was hoping Movies Anywhere had Doctor Sleep with a free screenpass, but they didn't. Buuuuut, they did have The Shining up for Screenpass. So, hey. If you want to watch The Shining for free to prep for Doctor Sleep, here ya go!

Oh yeah, looks like he does have a small cameo. I never would have picked that out. Had to look it up :-p
