The jury is in as to weather or not Marc Summers would have some involvement in this. I know he mentioned after the airing of the Double Dare 30th Anniversary reunion special that he would love to return for a new version of the show.

The minute I saw the kids celebrating by dabbing, I kind of thought "This isn't for ME," and I changed the channel. I hope other people thoroughly enjoy it though. Liza Koshy is cute.

I watched the first episode. I thought it was an all right reboot. Liza Koshy can get a little annoying at times, mainly for how hard she seems to try at being funny. But it is still good to see Marc Summers being a part of the show, and he does contribute to this show more than just being an announcer, which is pretty nice.
There's still more episodes to watch before I fully pass judgement on it. But one thing I will say right now is that it is better than Double Dare 2000. |

I just saw an episode on Dailymotion. It was good. It has the feel of the original show. I can't say I care about the new host that much, though. Still, this reboot is okay for what it is. "Magic can happen to you."
