The more information that comes out of this film, the more I'm really not sold on it. It feels as if they're going the route of The Emoji Movie, where they're trying more to appeal to the hip young crowd by having Ralph and Vanelope travel inside the internet. All the references to social media, and the amount of product placement being used for Amazon and Oh My Disney gives me a feeling that this movie really wouldn't age very well. Unlike the first Wreck-It Ralph, which focuses on classic video game arcade icons.
However, on a brighter note, IMDB lists Charles Martinet as the voice of Mario. Weather that does happen is something we'll have to wait and see. |

blueluigi wrote :This is my feeling as well. While I feel confident that Disney would do a much better job sending characters on internet adventures than the Emoji movie, this premise still feels lame. It was the classic gaming aspect of the first movie that helped make it so great. You love this signature.

So, what's the outcome? Two thumbs up?

i took some interest when the creators said they would think about fitting mario in the sequel somewhere, only for them to decide against it. but the thought of video game characters going through the internet sounds more like a written fanfiction idea to me but i'll look into watching it when it comes to dvd next year.

We caught the sequel tonight. I was pleasantly proven wrong about Ralph’s adventures outside of the arcade. This was a very entertaining movie with a great story and plenty of humor. I highly recommend it You love this signature.
