Mr Magic
Desperate Measures

A dying boy needs an important bone marrow transplant and Michael Keaton plays a convicted murderer, who becomes the boy's donor. Michael is quite convincing as a bad guy.

The movie's totally underrated, but it's a goodie.

I think Keaton is very good, but Andy Garcia is over the top.

Yes, I got to hand it to Andy. He was very good.

I'll have to check that out, I don't think that I've seen it.  One of my favorite of his lesser known roles was a very small part he played in Much Ado About Nothing, the 1993 version with Denzel Washington. He was only on screen maybe twice but I rewound his first scene over and over.

My mom loves that movie, so I watched it quite a few times. Then in high school when our class was going over Shakespeare, guess what movie the teacher put on?

The women of New Vegas ask me a lot if there's a Mrs. New Vegas. Well, of course there is! You're her. And you're still just as perfect as the day we met.

Nice!!!
I used to be obsessed with it and watch it constantly. It was weird when House premiered because I remember thinking whoa..That's Claudio! And thinking damn..he's a MAN now. He looked so much like a young boy in Much Ado About Nothing. Just a little older than he was in Dead Poet's Society.  Haha I just noticed Michael Keaton made the cover despite only being in it briefly. I also forgot how horrible of an actor Keanu Reeves was in this. I don't find him a terrible actor overall so this was odd. Shakespeare is a different breed though I guess.

I saw the movie Peter's Friends shortly after watching this movie. It came out a year earlier. I don't know if these British actors have some sort of name they call their group, but it reminds me of the brat pack in the sense that a lot of these people are in each other's movies. I guess similar to Adam Sandler and his friends. Kenneth Branagh, Emma Thompson, Hugh Laurie, Imelda Staunton, etc. Actually quite a few of them were in Harry Potter randomly as well.

I'm not sure how this banner is at the bottom of my post haha
