Personally I think it's a good melodrama/thriller starring Elijah Wood long before his Lord of the Rings days.

Macaulay Culkin goes from being a hero in the Home Alone movies to a sinister being in The Good Son. Quote Disable Sigs "Magic can happen to you."

I just saw this on Netflix over Easter weekend. My father really enjoys this movie, but I don't see what he sees. I think the plot of the film is okay, but trying to imagine Macaulay Culkin as this murderous psychopath is just too laughable in my opinion.
And let's not forget his acting is pretty horrible. The final scene where he and Elijah Wood were dangling from the cliff and his begging his mom to let go of Elijah had to be some of the worst line readings I have ever encountered. *Insert funny signature here*

I always liked this movie. I dunno... as a kid, seeing something of a horror/thriller with kids. Also, Culkin dropping the eff bomb. I'll bet he was giddy, getting the go ahead from his mom to cuss on tape. |
