I have been watching this show quite religiously lately and I have got to admit that, while it's usually just a silly -yet incredibly smart!- half an hour designed to make you laugh, I left me completely devastated more than a few times. And that's something that very few -if any- programs can accomplish, since I'm not given to tears in fiction; yet Futurama pulls it off as it pleases, with a level of confidence that never fails to shock me a little.
I don't want to spoil the show for anyone who hasn't watched it yet, but man... some of the examples I could talk about have a permanent spot in my heart, as they simply bombarded it. And the levels of realization I have come to appreciate after I was able to revisit the episodes have only added to the -already huge- emotional impact left by them (ok, simple spoiler here: do you guys remember that Fry's dad mentioned that it was a tradition of the family to name their first son "Yancy"? Yeah, the ending of that episode is far more brutal for me now).
Have you guys cried (or even felt emotional) watching this show like I have? If so, what's the more brutal episode according to you? Jurassic Bark will be my pick, since I just refuse to watch it again... it's too crude.

Futurama certainly did now how to pull off emotional episodes. The one with Fry's dog, the one with his nephew, the one where he relives his last in 1999 through memories were all pretty good ones to me. That and the series finale, as well as the other episodes that were meant to serve as the series finale, were also good.
