I don't know why this story ad got to me. Maybe I see a lot of myself in June. Her story is one of sudden change that sparks an opportunity.

Like June, my life will reach a point where I too will depend on the kindness of strangers.

So, I listen to a lot of Howard Stern compilations on my phone using the YouTube app. Longer videos are broken up by ads, sometimes skippable, sometimes not. I've become very familiar with this particular ad because it comes up almost every single time for me (fortunately it's skippable).

Don't get me wrong, it's a very sweet story, and a creative advertisement, but the fact that it's longer than 5 minutes and insists on interrupting my content has soured me on it a little.

The women of New Vegas ask me a lot if there's a Mrs. New Vegas. Well, of course there is! You're her. And you're still just as perfect as the day we met.

That is Fascinating!

I use Lyft every week, yet I can't get this ad to come up on any of my devices. I had to search just to find it on my laptop.

These "long play" story ads are a bad idea. Few are interesting enough for me to sit through and my posting here should not be used as evidence that the idea should be encouraged.

Except for email deals I get little ad time from any ride-sharing companies.
