Drive-ins are old news, but thankfully Sonic is around to keep that tradition alive. You can still order food right from your car and someone on skates will give it to you. Good to see that this kind of American nostalgia is alive and well.

I don't see as many Sonics here in Virginia as I did when I was in MIssissippi. There was even a different chain called "Bumpers" which had very, very similar layout.

I don't think Sonic has sausage dogs. Maybe it's time they did.

I've only been to one once. It was last summer and it was a car cruise my dad took his 59 Plymouth to. We didn't order anything though because it was busy as hell. Still it does sound like it would be cool to try sometime.

It took a while for Sonic to come where I live for years and years the nearest location was in Anaheim. There is one closer to me now but I still haven't been there.

Wow - what happy memories I have of Sonic during my college years in Arizona and So. California. The first time I went to Sonic was with a group of friends in my freshmen year at ASU. The food was simply awesome. I love a well made burger but Sonic onion rings are to die for!

There are three Sonic Restaurants in Western Washington, none in the Seattle area.

For Seattle burger fans we have, "BURGERMASTER" - car hop service, (no roller skates) and you eat in your car. At least we have in-car dining in Seattle but Sonic is waay better, imho.

I like how they have so many milkshakes to choose from.

The women of New Vegas ask me a lot if there's a Mrs. New Vegas. Well, of course there is! You're her. And you're still just as perfect as the day we met.

I thought someone would've posted this by now.
