I don't know why MM but when you talk about Phil Collins, the 80's Icon, he reminds me of the songs I heard in 1979 - the kind of songs that previewed the music explosion to come in the 1980's!

Men At Work may be most remembered for their song "Down Under", with it's Vegemite sandwiches and such, but they had a good number of hit songs. Including "Who Can It Be Now?", "It's A Mistake", "Be Good Johnny", "Overkill", and this little number that I thoroughly enjoy:
