I don't know why MM but when you talk about Phil Collins, the 80's Icon, he reminds me of the songs I heard in 1979 - the kind of songs that previewed the music explosion to come in the 1980's!

"Driver's Seat" is so cool it's hard to believe it really is a 70's song.
Phil Collins and "Genesis", definitely approved.

Men At Work may be most remembered for their song "Down Under", with it's Vegemite sandwiches and such, but they had a good number of hit songs. Including "Who Can It Be Now?", "It's A Mistake", "Be Good Johnny", "Overkill", and this little number that I thoroughly enjoy:

Vaporman, I don't have to say a word - cuz you and the Retro-Daze gang already know.

80's music is like a universe you can get lost in and Men At Work dominated my radio with song after song of the best stuff. And what a great group of guys! Men At Work were like a musical version of the Ghostbusters - guys everyone was glad to spend time with and eager for their next album.

Their live action videos were always fun to watch and as a group they loved to ham-it-up for the fans.

But always remember the old saying: "at the top of every ladder there's a snake". ( because the ladder and the snake are the same - if you relax and stay focused the ladder/snake will take you everywhere! )

You guys remember when Kuzco wanted to fly a spaceship to the Sun and dance with the Sun Goddess?

Well I think Retro-Daze is overdue for a visit from "Miss Sun".

Now come on dudes - I know you guys remember "Miss Sun" - from 1980:

I've seen logos for bands and most are very cool looking.
