I had an interesting night. My mom's best friend came up to visit. She's like an aunt because that's just how close her and my mother are. It's been about five years since we've last seen her. We've all just been too busy to make time.
She's moving down south over the weekend so she wanted to see us one last time before the move. It was nice catching up with her. She's lived in the old neighborhood I grew up in since shortly after my family moved us out of there almost ten years ago. A lot has changed. One of my childhood best friends now has their own kid. Another is managing a supermarket. Another two are no longer there and have all but vanished off the face of the earth. You may lose contact with people over the years, but it's always nice to hear how they are doing. *Insert funny signature here*

So I lost my health insurance earlier this week :/
I should still be covered under my mom's plan because I have a registered disability. So it's something she should be able to look into. No big deal, right? Except we had a huge fight the other day. And now the last thing she wants to do is help me. I mean, I'm not sick or anything so I'm not worried, but it sucks how inconvenient the timing is. Feels like something out of a Seinfeld or Curb episode. The women of New Vegas ask me a lot if there's a Mrs. New Vegas. Well, of course there is! You're her.
