Hmmm. Nope. Not ringing a bell. Which products of their brand featured this?

Just barely. I don't really recall much.

Mr Magic

His name is "Nabisco Thing" and there's not a lot I can tell you about him except he was Nabisco's mascot for a brief period of time and he even has his own playing cards.

Here's a history on him.

I vaguely remember it.  Such a stupid, lazy mascot.  Reminds me of this guy, used by a TV station here:

Come on!  That's crap!  Sticking arms and legs and a face on your logo doesn't make a character!  Neither do abstract shapes derived from said logo.  Put some effort into it!

Maybe this is good.  After all, should I really complain if companies can't come up with identifiable characters that will be fondly remembered?

Oh gawd I remember him. I had him in the back of my mind for a Long Lost 90's collection article for a while. I remember plenty of ads with him in it.

Even though he's forgotten by many, I'm still reminded of him whenever I look at the Nabisco logo.

I find this to be a fun and refreshing brand mascot...

...and the creator of it must truly be a marketing guru.

at least we didn't see that mascot go into the void of terrible product cash-in video games
