I've always had an interest in the supernatural and even though I'm a "skeptic," ghost stories have always been a source of fascination.

Have you ever had an encounter with the recently deceased or know someone who has?

There's a dude you can get in touch with on this who has plenty of experience. You just text his name three times and he'll answer any question you have.

I was convinced for years that my middle school was haunted. Strange cold spots, eerie feelings that you were being watched, strange noises that no one could explain. It had everything.

You would of loved my entire town. My town was heavily featured in a series of books detailing real life ghost investigations and reported hauntings. When I was in middle school they were really popular among the students, and during the Halloween season our teachers would take us to the library so we could attend live readings done by the school librarians of stories from the books. It was always fun to go around to the spots written in the books and see what we could find (I found a reportedly haunted graveyard that was from a story in one of the books that the librarians read to us).

Way, way back in high school some friends and I made plans to stay overnight at a local cemetery but never did.

That's all I got to contribute to this thread. I'm boring.

The women of New Vegas ask me a lot if there's a Mrs. New Vegas. Well, of course there is! You're her. And you're still just as perfect as the day we met.

@jkatz: I’m afraid I’m also boring in this regard. No real interesting stories.

this is the recent thing that is kind  strange this happened last week my mom likes to write and sing songs   and record herself  to hear back to see how she sounds  she usually uses a tape recorder but this time she was using a cell phone any ways she was playing it for me because she was thinking about sending in to have it put on a album any way  she wanted my opinion on how it sounded she played it  it sounded normal but then there was a part where it started sounding forced like she was just going through the monitions you can clearly hear a difference but thats not the creepy part  the creepy part is that she forgets a word and you can hear a woman's voice that i have never heard  before in my life i mean a clearly different person tell her the words  then my mom says the words right after but sounds almost like she is in a trance  and she continues the song usually i can think of  a possible explanation but   i don't have one here it isn't background noise it is clearly telling her the words of the song .
