This may be kind of a stupid question, but are "stories" out of play for this?  Kind of like the style of writing I usually do for here, of the style I wrote for the previous contest?

Not out of place at all. So long as you are accurately recalling a memory of the subject, we like the storytelling style.

Phew, having entered the last 2 contests I'm pretty depleted on memories. My entry this time around will be in a totally different direction. Hopefully this departure doesn't go the way of the Gamecube.
