40260New episodes of Rugrats are coming! As far as Christine Cavanaugh goes, she left in 2001. She was replaced by Nancy Cartwright as the voice of Chuckie. I'm sure that's what we would see with these new episodes. Jack Riley, I'm not so sure about. Or hell, even Joe Alasky as he also died fairly recently, which means they'd have to get a third voice actor for Grandpa Lou.<div><br></div><div>One thing that does give me hope for this is that Paul Germain is returning in this series alongside Arlene Klasky and Gabor Csupo. One of the reasons why Rugrats jumped the shark to begin with was because Paul Germain left the show to work on Disney's Recess. A lot of the charm Rugrats had went into Disney's Recess, while Rugrats had not been the same after that. The part where All Grown Up premiered was where they were really milking the cow dry, and was time to pull the plug on the show.</div><div><br></div><div>As for the live-action film, I'm really not so sure how I feel about that. It might end up being good if it's more in line with Baby Geniuses, which was basically the Rugrats live-action movie of the 90s. But still, thinking about an actual live-action Rugrats movie just doesn't bode well with me.</div>blueluigiJul 17, 2018View
40259New episodes of Rugrats are coming!I was a huge fan as a kid, I'm sure the nostalgia die hards will tear it apart, while I grew out of it, I'll give the reboot a fair shake.&nbsp;ThatDudeintheHoodieJul 17, 2018View

40257New episodes of Rugrats are coming! That's what concerns me. With some of the voice talents from the original Rugrats series not being alive anymore, how can they pull this off?Mr MagicJul 17, 2018View
40256New episodes of Rugrats are coming!i just don't know how i feel about this with christine cavanaugh and jack riley gone. i'm sure they'll find replacements but in my opinion the voices are what made the characters, and without the originals it just doesn't have the same charm. i'm aware they did what they could with hey arnold: the jungle movie but those were actual kids voicing the main characters.BenjanimeJul 17, 2018View

40251Last Movie You WatchedIncredibles 2<div><br></div><div>I finally got around to catching this film today. Overall it was an enjoyable experience. I agree with what Vaporman said in The Incredibles thread that it was a good follow-up to the first film but not as great. It felt like it was just retreading a lot of the same material from the first, the villain was kind of weak in both motive and execution and the final battle felt so anti-climatic compared to the first film. Also, the animation was decent but I felt it slipped in some areas compared to the first. That brick and bend heroes felt a little too wacky in how their bodies looked.</div><div><br></div><div>The entire film felt smaller compared to the first one. I don't know what it was but it just didn't have the same vast encompassing factor in comparison to the first. For the Pixar film that most deserved a sequel and that we had to wait so long for, it felt a little like a let down. But I guess some of it might just be me being so much older compared to when I saw the first one. Overall despite the flaws I listed, Incredibles 2 still stood out and was a fun film. I hope we eventually got a third film eventually that doesn't have these mistakes.</div><div><br></div><div>4/5</div>Rick Ace RhodesJul 15, 2018View
