For those that don't know, the original plot for Rambo 5 was going to be a sci-fi story where Rambo has to hunt a genetically engineered creature.Rick Ace RhodesJun 14, 2019View

Now, in 2019, the same amount of time that has passed by where the 90s were considered retro in 2009 has now passed over in the 2000s. We didn't exist in the late 90's. It was a lot easier for us to except the 90's being retro because our existence began after it ended.&nbsp;<br><div style="font-weight: normal;"><br></div><div style="font-weight: normal;">To phrase it a little better, it's hard to view the decade in which we first started talking about the past and how much the modern day world sucks is now suddenly so long ago that it isn't the modern day anymore.&nbsp;</div><div style="font-weight: normal;"><br></div><div style="font-weight: normal;">Say we were justing starting up this community today. It would likely be a lot easier for us to view the 2000's as being retro because there wasn't a time where we were openly hating on it for not being as great as the past.</div><div style="font-weight: normal;"><br></div><div style="font-weight: normal;"><div style="text-align: left;"><b style="font-size: 10pt;"><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Mr Magic wrote :</b></div><i><div style="text-align: left;"><i style="font-size: 10pt;"><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>^ Invader Zim is a good example. &nbsp;</i></div></i></div><div style="font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><b><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>-end quote</b></div><div style="font-weight: normal;"><b><br></b></div><div>For as good of a show as it was, I don't think I would really consider it to be a cornerstone of the 2000's. 42922The 2000'sAs one of the few 2000's kids on this site, I'm trying to think what really shaped the era. Harry Potter would have to be included, the video game consoles and the new franchises that came out (GTA being one of them). Maybe the Star Wars prequels as well?<div><br></div><div>I don't know what cartoons I would include.</div>Rick Ace RhodesJun 13, 2019View
42921The 2000'sAs far as the 2000s being "retro" in 2020, let's cross that bridge when we get to it.<img src="http://retro-daze.org/images/smilies/Wink.gif">Vaporman87Jun 13, 2019View

42919The 2000'sif i recall an imdb review of it said it was like the equivalent of a cartoon in sugar cereal form, sounds pretty accurate to me as there are no moments where the show slows down&nbsp;BenjanimeJun 13, 2019View
