44515Nintendo Entertainment System: My Ultimate Coping Tool
i'm thankful that i got myself an NES mini, all i have in my home are HDTVs now but with the inclusion of that CRT filter it helps give it that authentic feel (aside from holding an NES controller again, lol) and with the bonus of being able to add games to it i have all of the games i grew up with as well as some games that i didn't but got great reviews (like gremlins 2 from sunsoft).
BenjanimeDec 03, 2019View
44514Nintendo Entertainment System: My Ultimate Coping Tool

And beat em up games like Mighty Final Fight, Double Dragon and River City Ransom. I especially love pretending the baddies I punch and kick in River City Ransom are my sister (because the thought of her saying barf and coughing up coin change is epic)
RetroSnob88Dec 03, 2019View
44513Nintendo Entertainment System: My Ultimate Coping Tool
Oh and Wolverine. That's another fun one. Pretending Logan is slicing and dicing my sister turning her into julienne fries
RetroSnob88Dec 03, 2019View
44512Nintendo Entertainment System: My Ultimate Coping Tool
Another game I love playing on it, Blades of Steel. I especially love that you can beat the crap out of opponents with no trip to the penalty box. It makes pretending the opposing team I play against are all copies of my sister all the more fun!
RetroSnob88Dec 03, 2019View

44510My articles
For your first couple articles, I would stick to the 3-1 ratio for text to pictures. Try uploading 1 image at a time using the toolset. It looks like you tried to do some of your own photoshopping.
echidna64Dec 03, 2019View
44509Flash being discontinued in 2020
Flash is a security nightmare. So many sites have been hacked and viruses spread thanks to the exploits being abused in Flash. It's about time they get rid of it.
Linux_SageDec 03, 2019View
44508My articles
to give a more detailed reply from what TDitH said, there's much room for improvement and being a veteran article writer from retrojunk since 2007, i would recommend these steps:

1. study on article formatting. provide at least two or three long paragraphs before adding pictures, this will provide a nice, lengthy article and won't make it feel short. it's best to pull in readers by going more into detail with a specific part of an article you're writing about.

2. proper grammar, punctuation and spelling is key for an appealing article to your viewers. i know i'm not doing the same for my forum posts, but articles are far more important and they actually matter on this.

3. make sure you properly size your pictures in with the formatting of the article, the preview button is there for a reason and is to show an example of how the pictures will look after the article is published.

you could use any of my articles as an example of how formatting as well as picture placement should look. i see you've already written a few articles and i'm sure you have the potential to make your future articles stand out more.
BenjanimeDec 03, 2019View
