44596Rush N Attack (Copyright 1985 Konami) aka Green Beret in Europe aka Knifey Knifey, Hailey in my case
Ok, uhh... interesting story, OP...

Guess I will share mine. I first noticed this game in my fourth phase of playing NES games. That is still my current period, taking place in my early middle age. Why did it take me so long? I know in phase 1 and 2, I was not really interested in military campaign type games, even action style like this one. I first really took notice of it when I read about it in The Official Nintendo Player's Guide, a publication I never had access to in its own time. At that point, I became interested in it, and I eventually acquired it from the points store here on Retro-Daze, when Nintendo games were available. Thanks, Vaporman! Rush 'n' Attack is my newest oldest favorite arcade action NES game.
shakin steakDec 13, 2019View
44595Ghostbusters III
I was thinking more about the reboot, and if they had simply continued on in the same universe and had a different writer and cast, that film could have been good. But the cast was horrible and as echidna pointed out, the story was not very original and the humor terrible. Then to throw the original cast in as cameos... that sealed the deal.

echidna64 wrote :
Ghostbusters 2016 was an unfunny rehash of the original film. 44593Random Pictures Thread
Just in time for the holidays, here is a photo of holiday special and animated cult classic film moguls Arthur Rankin Jr and Jules Bass from the 70's
RetroSnob88Dec 12, 2019View
44592Christmas Nostalgia & More!
Here's another awesome one. So anybody here familiar with a long since defunct animation studio called Rankin/Bass? They were holiday special Rockstars for years with their Rudolph and Frosty franchises. They also did a Saturday Morning cartoon for the Michael Jacksons Five (years before Michael was an adult and invented Thriller) and even helped the 4kids heathens eons before they were 4kids heathens get Thundercats off the ground. Anyway, this is the last stop motion special Rankin/Bass ever made. Unlike most of their specials which existed in the realm of their Rudolph and Frosty thing they were milking for a while, this special was based on a book of the same name by Mr Oz Universe himself L Frank Baum

<!-- You're using demo endpoint of Iframely API commercially. 44591Christmas Nostalgia & More!
there was a playstation game based on the 2000 movie and it was pretty terrible, the only positive about it was space ghost's voice actor doing narration in rhyme, however the demo disc i had of it was eerily silent. it did have SOME music but very scarce voice lines (obviously to save space for the rest of the games on the disc, but it was still creepy to me).
BenjanimeDec 12, 2019View
