59 | Subject suggestions for bonus points | i was also wondering if there's a visible section showing what articles that you have written that are currently drafts? i recently wrote a couple of paragraphs of one last night and had it saved | Benjanime | Dec 07, 2012
58 | RetroDaze Yearbook | now this sounds neat! | Benjanime | Dec 07, 2012
56 | General suggestions | I noticed that as well. I'm curious as to how many threads actually show up below a category. I agree that this is going to need to be cleaned up and perhaps, only show the 5 recent threads below the "Recent Threads" section and everything else be closed up until opened by the user. Perhaps the other categories are limited to showing only the 5 most recent threads? I'll check on all this. | Vaporman87 | Dec 07, 2012
55 | Super Mario World | I wish my memory of my play with Super Mario World was better. Unfortunately I remember very little about it aside from the updated graphics and the excitement surrounding it in the gaming media of those days (especially gaming mags). | Vaporman87 | Dec 07, 2012
54 | Super Mario World | I gotta like the Super Mario 3 better but Super Mario World was pretty amazing I will admit. What bugs me about it is this was the beginning of Mario games being about collect-a-thon (dragon coins) and being too easy (you can always go back to an earlier stage to get up powerups, making it through the whole game without even one game over is easy even the first time.) The world themes are not very coherent. And Mario flashing peace/victory sign at the end of a stage, was the start of his personality changing from cool tough Lou Albano style to stupid "It's-a me!" style. And this I will allow may be a personal failing, I always found the flying very difficult to control. What is good about the game is it was huge, like every Super Mario game that came before. The graphics were awesome. The music was catchy. Being able to switch powerups and hold one in reserve, very cool. Climbing fences and switching sides was a good show-off for new technology abilities. And of course Yoshi, which gave the game a whole new aspect not seen previously in the series. | shakin steak | Dec 07, 2012
53 | General suggestions | Here's one: as more threads show up, the index page is growing. Only display categories on forum main page, click through to see threads. (aside from the Recent Threads at top) | shakin steak | Dec 07, 2012
52 | RetroDaze Yearbook | I like the idea! | Mr Magic | Dec 07, 2012
51 | Transformers: Prime - The best show since G1??? | It's nice to hear Welker and Cullen together in a series once more. I have to agree... I love me some TF:P | Vaporman87 | Dec 07, 2012
50 | A Christmas Story (1983) | As I recall, I think the movie introduced me to Ovaltine as well. | Mr Magic | Dec 07, 2012
49 | Steve Urkel | They tended to focus TOO much on him as a character toward the end of the series. | Vaporman87 | Dec 07, 2012 |
