650Tomb Raider returnI think an origin story is totally unnecessary. I'm all for a new game but leave the drama and cutscenes and character development in my head, or in the manual/title screen if some authorial background is truly needed.shakin steakJan 28, 2013View

645Street Fighter Double Impact for the Sega DreamcastI don't recall this game from the Dreamcast. Most titles I owned for the Dreamcast were either sports titles or Japanese titles. I did have Shenmue, Worms, Resident Evil: Code Veronica, Phantasy Star Online, and a few others. No fighters though. Was this a "fancied up" version of a similar release on another system?Vaporman87Jan 28, 2013View
644Namco Museum seriesJudging just from the titles I have played/liked, I would say Volume 1 and 3 would be my top choices. However, there are several titles here that I haven't even heard of, let alone had a chance to play. Given that chance, these choices could change.Vaporman87Jan 28, 2013View
643Namco Museum series
Vaporman87 wrote :
What were some of the games included in this series? Any volume in particular with a greater concentration of quality titles?
After the Game & Watch Gallery thread, I looked up the series to see which ones had the games I actually played when they were current, or that would just be interesting to me, so I could decide which I might want. Here is similar info on Namco Museum. To me Vol1 and Vol3 seem like the best ones to have. Although Dragon Buster, which I'm not familiar with, is on Vol2 and looks pretty cool. But I don't want any of the others on that volume, except for maybe Gaplus. On each volume there's more games that I don't want than ones I do. That's always my problem with these types of collections.shakin steakJan 28, 2013View
642Mega Man 8 for Sony PlayStation 1I don't know what's odd about that. They were around the same time weren't they? I just know, I got a Megaman 1-8 collection in 2005 or so. I brought it home, excited to play Megaman for the first time in years. I checked out 7 and 8. My roommate saw the look of horror on my face and laughed. "Bahahahaha shakin steak, your hero SPEAKS!" I did play Megaman X and that was good but I never got into X2 or the later ones. I guess I will know to stay away from X4 if I should ever seek them out.shakin steakJan 28, 2013View
