275 | RetroDaze has come home at last!!! | Caps... looks like that only 6 of your vids didn't make the transition. That would be all videos you uploaded AFTER the Working Girl trailers. Those included the Videodrome trailers and some others. So, not TOO bad. Just thought I'd let you know. | Vaporman87 | Dec 26, 2012
274 | Current list of bugs and features not yet implemented UPDATED | The bug I have noticed since the transition (aside from missing some of the uploaded videos and associated thumbnails, is when you attempt to return to the home page via the "RetroDaze" logo while viewing a thread. It creates this error: Fatal error: Call to undefined method stdClass::update() in /home/vaporman/public_html/protected/controllers/SiteController.php on line 1231 Let me know if you come across something else. BUG FIXED! | Vaporman87 | Dec 25, 2012
273 | RetroDaze has come home at last!!! | Ah yes. I see that now. I had thought that the issue was only some of the thumbnail images were missing, but the uploaded videos are also missing. I estimate about fourty thumbs didn't make the transfer, and fewer vids, along with the thumb for Benjanime's latest article and shakin steak's avatar (?). Since I still have the original thumbs here on my computer, I can easily replace them. Getting the vids will require me to ask the developer to send them to me. I'll see what I can do. Just keep a close eye out for any unusual bugs. I have noticed at least 1 (trying to return home from the forum by clicking the "RetroDaze" logo from the thread view creates this error: Fatal error: Call to undefined method stdClass::update() in /home/vaporman/public_html/protected/controllers/SiteController.php on line 1231 I'll be working on getting that fixed on my own. I'll update you all on the status of the coming updates in the next day or two. Until then, enjoy Christmas!!! | Vaporman87 | Dec 25, 2012
270 | RetroDaze has come home at last!!! | Merry Christmas. Unfortunately, it looks like a lot of the videos didn't make the transition over to the site. I hope they'll be able to be back up soon...It took a lot of work and battery power to record the videos I did. | Caps 2.0 | Dec 25, 2012

267 | Giygas from Earthbound is too scary for me!!!... | ugh, i still have yet to buy this game. normally getting it without the box is $99 if i want to order it from my local retro gamestore. the only kicker is that i have a non-legit snes, since my original one died out. i'm saying this because nintendo put in a rather interesting game chip that makes the game harder when played on an unofficial snes | Benjanime | Dec 21, 2012
266 | Proposed Update Package for the site | Yeah, little things like that and the endless list of videos/articles on a user profile (instead of sticking in a scroll bar like there should have been - just look at my profile and Caps.) And the fact that the search function for Videos and Articles only searches for those that have been submitted by the user whose video or article is currently displayed in the main area. Seriously? | Vaporman87 | Dec 21, 2012
265 | Giygas from Earthbound is too scary for me!!!... | This is ANOTHER of those games my brother played. I have little to no memory of it. I'm sure he could sympathize with your fear though. :)) | Vaporman87 | Dec 21, 2012
264 | favorite old computer games | Holy cow! You just reminded me of playing a game I had LOOOOONG forgotten about! I remember Stunts!!! That game was so extremely fun back in the day. I can't believe I forgot about that! I honestly did not have many computer games back in the 80's. However, I did get to experience an early version of the internet back then. My stepdad had made it possible to connect through our phone line to a friend of his who had several games stored on his computer. I would occasionally sign on, say hi, and download a game or two onto our PC. It's so weird to think how far the internet has come since then. I also attempted to code some text, choose your own path, adventures on our computer in GW Basic. I could get to maybe choice number 10 or so, and then it just got to be soooo complicated and time consuming to plot out each possible outcome, that I would give up about that time. | Vaporman87 | Dec 21, 2012 |
