9-11 | I woke up to my alarm clock radio talking about terrorists in a general manner. I thought nothing of it, got dressed, and got on the train to go to school. The conductor said something on the loudspeaker about many buildings downtown being closed. Then I started to wonder what happened. I arrived in the loop and went to school. The security guard said I could come in but no teachers or staff were in. I don't remember if I was supposed to go to class or if I just wanted to use the computer lab. I left and got back on the train, and decided to stop in at work, which was a new & used clothing store on the second floor of a building in a hip area. The manager was at the top of the stairs, smoking. With both of us being what a high school counselor calls "antisocial" and having twisted humor, he pointed at me and declared, "<span style="font-weight: bold;">You're in sooo much trouble when they find you!</span>" I gave him a puzzled look. "Oh my god, you don't know what happened do you?" he said. I went in to the store, where everybody behind the counter was listening to news radio and I finally found out what happened. | shakin steak | Sep 11, 2013 | ![]()
Halloween Nostalgia & More! | Working on something for the PDT that, if everything comes together, will be pretty special. You won't want to miss out on it. Once more things are set in stone, I'll make an "official" announcment. | Vaporman87 | Sep 11, 2013 | ![]()

From the photos of last year's event, it appears to be pretty successful. </blockquote> Ya gotta love when something's authentic. | Mr Magic | Sep 11, 2013 | ![]() |

Mega Man 1 | I don't mind a game that involves one big story. Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 really captured my imagination. They always kept me guessing what was going to happen next. | Mr Magic | Sep 11, 2013 | ![]()
Mega Man 1 | Don't get me wrong. I love the sport of the way games used to be. Always working to achieve that high score or beat that final boss character. It's just that I also enjoy being a part of a big, unfolding story that hinges on my choices. But, they have to REALLY capture me nowadays in order to make me play through. The Mass Effect series is the only series that has managed to do that in recent years. I've tried others, but they just can't reach the depth and character of ME. | Vaporman87 | Sep 11, 2013 | ![]()
